Deeper Groove Session creates a welcoming space to activate mind and body through contemplation and groove. The workshop weaves together contemporary dance, yoga, movement research, club dancing, and mindfulness practices. We explore listening and care through movement and reflection. In the October session, we focus on dancing through change: new seasons, shifting emotions, or uncertainty. By tuning into thought patterns, breath, and bodily sensations while dancing, we develop listening as a physical, mindful, and social practice. We begin with awareness of our own body, then expand it into the space and towards others. Dance technique appears as a tool for exploration and flows back into improvisation. Reflection and exchange\u2014through pauses, writing prompts, and dialogues\u2014are part of the process. Join us to reconnect with your body, spark creative flow, and deepen your holistic awareness. <\/p>\n
